There are a few non-top8free recipes on this site - they are generally marked as such. Whole wheat, spelt, and kamut are all wheat and are NOT suitable for people with celiac or wheat allergies. Spelt and kamut are often easier to digest for people with mild sensitivities to wheat.

Buckwheat, despite the name, is NOT related to wheat and is GLUTEN-FREE. Yeah!

I am confused about something, 6 months ago I learned that I am allergic to gluten, eggs, dairy, soy, peanuts, and watermelon...

I've noticed that there are two ingredients that have been used in recipes on this site and they are:

Whole wheat couscous
Buckwheat

Are these not wheat? Or are they gluten free? I'm confused! I've been allergen free for 6 months now and have been using recipes off here so I'm just wondering.
