Thanks to my new neighbor, Sarah, I’ve started batch cooking. Only someone who has prepared every dinner from scratch for three years can fully appreciate the joy of getting home at 5:15 and being able to heat something up in the microwave, but everyone can get a little thrill.
In addition to having delicious, allergy-friendly meals stocking my freezer, I’ve also gotten to spend some wonderful hours talking with Sarah as we chop vegetables. I highly reccommend cooking with a friend, though I suggest finding a friend dealing with no or few allergies, otherwise you might end up eliminating everything off the menu!
Stay tuned for future forays, shopping lists, cooking timelines, and more recipes!
